On Saturday, we went to the Jersey Shore for the first time. Our friends Travis and Julie Spencer invited us to spend the day with them on the beach. (Arron and Travis were in grad school together at ODU). The atmosphere is very different from that of Virginia Beach, especially the North End. We saw roller coasters, carnival games, funnel cakes, tattoo parlors and a ski lift. Vaughn was thoroughly entertained and was asleep within 5 minutes of being strapped into his carseat to return home.
